obtained from waste and leftover plant biomass; recycled and renewable materials that have the following characteristics:
- Lower environmental impact
- Lower consumption of CO2 and H2O
- Recyclability and reuse of materials and components used.
Main objectives of ISCC certification:
- Environmental sustainability: To promote sustainable production of raw materials, reducing environmental impact and greenhouse gas emissions.
- Traceability: Ensure traceability of materials throughout the supply chain, from raw material to final product.
- Protection of natural resources: Promoting the sustainable management of natural resources, such as forests and farmland.
- Social responsibility: Ensuring compliance with social criteria, such as workers' rights and working conditions.
- Circular economy: Support the circular economy through the use of recycled and renewable materials.
Biocircular technopolymers have the exact same physical, electrical and chemical characteristics as petroleum-based technopolymers.
