ART.15Bis indicator Peg for postponed information point
It is a complementary signal consisting of a circular cross-section peg with a hemispherical head,
painted in high-retroreflective orange, white, and black colors.
It is installed in specific operating locations equipped with Information Points located downstream of the departure signal
(postponed PIs), such as in yards provided with a departure signal common to multiple tracks
but lacking low-level departure indicators or low-level light signals suitable for providing the flashing white light signal,
or in operating locations provided with tracks equipped for the departure of trains with the lead rolling stock beyond the signal.
The presence of this peg must be reported in the service timetable indicating: the operating location,
the track, and the affected signal, specifying, for the latter, the position relative to the forwarding direction.
Furthermore, the distance separating the peg from the signal must be indicated.
