The FS 832/720 PLUS terminal junction box (Drawing: 866 - 46 E bis) is a weatherproof vertical enclosure compliant

with Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (RFI) standards. Compared to its standard predecessor (Cat. FS 831/123), the PLUS version

features an expanded body for easier ergonomic access to internal backplate screws. Internal clearance dimensions:

230 x 290 x 248 mm.

• Material: High-durability thermoplastic with high mechanical resistance.
• Protection: Complete electrical insulation and robust protection against weather and trackside corrosion.
• Capacity: Designed to house internal terminal blocks of 8, 20, 34, or 50 poles (A.C. and signaling circuits).
• Assembly: Ready for quick coupling with standard PP or monobloc ground foundations.

Use and Application

• Location: Ground-installed along railway tracks, station yards, and switching points.
• Primary Purpose: Field termination point for structured cable branching and disconnection.
• Connected Systems: Electric point operating machines (turnouts), point detection circuits, and signaling networks.
